SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 222-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 17.00 g, 9 h), Susa, circa 211-209/8. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left and right, monograms. SC 1212 var. (same obverse die, but slightly differing left field monogram). An apparently unpublished variety. Struck from a worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.

From a European collection, formed before 2005.

The left field monogram appears to be a variant form of the monogram recorded in SC.
